Our Story

It started with a single raised bed and a lot of curiosity. What began as a way to put fresh vegetables on our table quickly became something bigger for me — a chance to slow down, get my hands in the dirt, and actually know where our food comes from.

Watching my kids pick strawberries for the first time, or hunt for ripe peppers and tomatoes between the leaves, taught me more than any lesson could. Growing our own food became a joy we share — something we do together, season after season.

Along the way, I started noticing everything else that showed up alongside the vegetables. My kids will drop what they're doing to watch a bee move through the cucumber blossoms. They'll spend an hour turning over leaves and dirt just to see how many bugs they can find. And the first time a hummingbird found our flowers, all three of us stood completely still in the yard, not wanting to be that reason it left.

That's the part nobody tells you about growing your own food — the garden gives you more than it grows. It gave my family a reason to be outside together, to slow down, and to actually notice something. That's what I want for every family I work with: not just a garden that produces, but one that becomes part of how you live.

If you're thinking about starting your own — even just a single raised bed — I'd love to help.
